Sylvia Luncheon

Celebrating the U.S. Premiere of John Neumeier's Sylvia and Chicago's Strong, Dynamic Women

The Joffrey Ballet will celebrate its 60th anniversary and the U.S. premiere of John Neumeier’s Sylvia with an elegant Luncheon on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the newly-opened Chicago Athletic Association Hotel.

The event will be co-chaired by Chicago business leaders Kathleen Henson and Ellie Forman and hosted by The Women’s Board of the Joffrey Ballet. The afternoon will include an intimate conversation with internationally-acclaimed choreographer John Neumeier, Joffrey’s Artistic Director, Ashley Wheater and Hedy Weiss, theater and dance critic of the Chicago Sun-Times. The luncheon will also offer guests insights on the highly anticipated full-length, female-powered story ballet Sylvia—the story of a coming-of-age female huntress.

Guests will have a chance to win luxurious prizes with a Jewelry Pull Raffle by Kendra Scott. For more information on the event please visit joffrey.org/luncheon.
