WEISS HOSPITAL, CHICAGO HEALTH MEDICAL GROUP OPEN OUTPATIENT OFFICE IN EDGEWATER
Neighbors Invited to Check Out the Office at an Open House Event Oct. 30
Chicago Health Medical Group (CHMG) in partnership with Weiss Memorial Hospital has opened a new outpatient office in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. Located at 6201 North Broadway, the office will meet the medical demands of a growing diverse community.
“We’re happy to continue to partner with CHMG in this way, expanding primary care and specialty services in a more personalized, convenient way for our neighbors,” said Anthony J. Tedeschi, M.D., Chief Executive Officer at Weiss.
Community members are invited to attend a Halloween-themed open house on Oct. 30 from 5:30-7PM. The event will kick off the Halloween weekend with treats, fun activities, an office tour and appetizers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak directly with the providers.

Family Medicine Specialist Robin Tong, D.O., who believes in developing long-term partnerships with his patients, will be the first physician to provide medical services on-site along with Family Nurse Practitioner, Beata Janton. They both are currently on staff at Weiss and accepting patients.
“Good medicine equals one part science, one part common sense and a whole lot of care,” Dr. Tong said. He is most interested in preventive health, LGBT medicine and complementary and alternative medicine. In addition to English, Dr. Tong is fluent in Cantonese Chinese.

The office will honor most major HMO, PPO and conventional insurance plans, as well as most government payors.
“With a growing demand for primary care services on Chicago’s North Side, this new Edgewater location expands our reach in the community, giving our neighbors access to healthcare closer to home,” said Dr. Steve Michel, Chief Medical Officer for CHMG. “We want to place patients at the center of their care by providing medical services in easily accessible locations.”
Weiss has long partnered with the Chicago Health Medical Group to meet inpatient needs. Physicians have offices in the hospital at 4646 North Marine Drive, and adjacent to the hospital at 4700 North Marine Drive.
