Swedish Covenant's STAR Employee for July

Swedish Covenant Hospital’s monthly STAR (Special Thanks and Recognition) Program recognizes employees for their outstanding work and commitment to safety, excellent outcomes and an unmatched patient experience.

Congratulations to our STAR employee of the month, Ella Foulks!

Foulks was nominated by a patient for her compassionate and encouraging nature.

“On Easter Sunday, Ella came into my room and got me out of my bed,” according to a patient who submitted Foulk’s nomination. “I hadn’t walked in five months. Her determination got me out of bed to sitting in a chair, and from sitting in the chair, I began to walk with a walker. If I did not meet her, I probably would not be walking today.”

Folks has been with SCH since 1995.
