Taste of Andersonville Dinner Crawl - August 12, 6pm-9pm

Great food, great fun! Take a bite out of Andersonville

The Taste of Andersonville Dinner Crawl features selections from 22 restaurants in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Choose between the SALT Route or the PEPPER Route. Or enjoy both with THE WHOLE ENCHILADA!

WHEN: Wednesday, August 12, 2015 6PM – 9PM

WHERE: Headquarters location for the Taste of Andersonville is the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark Street, with host restaurants located throughout the neighborhood.

WHO: Event supports the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, with $1 from each ticket benefitting Care for Real, Edgewater’s food pantry

HOW: Tickets are $30 for each route in advance, $35 at the door (if available). THE WHOLE ENCHILADA is $55 in advance, $65 at the door (if available). Space is limited! Order tickets at http://www.andersonville.org/dinnercrawl.

Come take a bite out of the neighborhood at the annual Taste of Andersonville Dinner Crawl. Enjoy your favorites, find new spots to dine, and meet lots of neighbors and friends.

Choose from the SALT Route or the PEPPER Route, both filled with great eats. Or do THE WHOLE ENCHILADA and enjoy BOTH routes! Tickets for one route are $30 in advance and $35 at the door; for THE WHOLE ENCHILADA, tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the door.

The Taste of Andersonville is proud to be a ZERO WASTE food crawl! In partnership with Onyx Distribution, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce provides compostable serve ware and utensils FREE OF CHARGE to participating restaurants. Compost bins will be stationed at intervals throughout the neighborhood for the use of crawl patrons. Compost pickup is provided by Collective Resource.

The Taste of Andersonville Dinner Crawl is sponsored by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, Jerry’s, Onyx Distribution, and Giordano’s.

o Jerry’s - Seasonal bruschetta

o Andersonville Brewing Co - Pretzels and house-made hot beer cheese made with Andersonville Brewing Company’s Speakeasy Saison Ale

o Vincent - Seasonal arancini (house-made risotto balls with seasonal local vegetables)

o Kopi Cafe - Veggie sloppy joe

o Ranalli’s - A selection of Ranalli’s signature thin-crust pizza

o Lady Gregory’s - Macaroni & cheese (white cheddar garlic cream with cavatappi and a garlic crumb crust)

o Middle East Bakery - Hummus, pita bread, baba ganoush, ful medames (fava bean stew)

o Wooden Spoon - Wood-fired pizza made in our own backyard pizza oven

o Koval Distilleries - Samples of locally made bourbons, rye, gin, or liqueurs.

o The Coffee Studio - Smoked salmon flatbread

o JB’s Deli - Brisket, rueben strudel, veggie wrap, pasta salad, carrot slaw

o Summerdale - Spicy chicken slider and homemade chips

o Andies - Baba ganoush, organic falafel, dolmades

o Svea - A shoal of herring (sampler)

o Giordano’s - Stuffed spinach or sausage pizza

o Konak - Konak’s signature Chicken Chops & rice pilaf
