AMI Summer Music Camp - July 25-29, 2016
American Music Institute (AMI) Summer Camp 2016
American Music Institute announces its 2016 AMI Summer Camp: held July 25-29, 2016, at AMI’s Clarendon Hills campus. Each day consists of five instructional and academic classes, a lunch period and a performance class where students listen to faculty and their fellow students perform.
“It was a delight to hear AMI halls beaming with more than 50 new student compositions and music making, from chamber music to orchestra. The final concert on June 26th was a treat,” said Remus Badea, AMI Executive Director, of the 2015 camp.
Around 50 young artists from around the Chicagoland area came together for the 2015 AMI Summer Music Camp from June 22-26th at the American Music Institute - Clarendon Hills Campus. Students of all levels and instruments learned about history of music, composed individual music, and participated in chamber music and orchestra, culminating with a fantastic final performance on Friday, June 26th.
“My kid loved the camp, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely do it again next year!” said Samyra M., a parent of a camper.
