• Spring Branch Pickup Underway In Lisle: What To Know (patch.com) — Lisle residents in single-family homes can now take advantage of the village’s free spring branch pickup, which began April 27 and runs through mid-May by zone. The schedule is organized by Center, North, and South zones, and residents must bundle branches to specific size and weight limits and avoid prohibited items to ensure their piles are collected without red tags.    

• Waukegan ranks 52nd highest in Illinois for per-household pension tax burden in FY 2024 (lakecountygazette.com) — Lisle households faced one of the highest police and fire pension tax burdens in Illinois for 2024, averaging $13,382 per household and funding a $134.9 million obligation that’s only 54.6% funded.
