DuPage Medical Group Welcomes New Director of Human Resources

DuPage Medical Group (DMG), the largest independent, multi-specialty physician group in the Chicago area, has announced the appointment of Geri Jarrard as director of human resources.  Jarrard’s hiring aligns with DMG’s continued efforts to create a more cohesive philosophy for both the patient care and the administrative aspects of their practices. In her new role, Jarrard will work closely with DMG’s leadership team and executive committee to devise a human resources strategy that is applicable across DMG’s diverse employee population.

“Geri’s strong health care-specific background is ideally suited to managing our HR demands,” said DMG CEO Mike Kasper. “We are excited to have her join the team. Our dedicated employees are a primary factor in setting us apart from the competition. Geri will play an integral role in assuring that these employees have a positive and rewarding work culture.”

Jarrard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to DMG. She spent more than a decade serving in various human resource positions for national health care provider Humana. Her responsibilities included implementing strategies and activities for more than 1,000 employees spanning several regions. Prior to that she was vice president and manager of human resources for Oak Brook Bank in Oak Brook, Ill. Her extensive familiarity with the Chicagoland market dates back to 1993.
