Big Apple Pancake Closing Not Health Related

The DuPage County Health Department confirmed the Maple Avenue restaurant's closing was voluntary.

A few residents reached out to me this week asking about the 'closed' sign on Big Apple Pancake House's doors.

The restaurant is closed indefinitely, according to the DuPage County Health Department.

A department spokesman confirmed the closing was voluntary.

The yellow sticker on the door indicates to future occupants that the building will need to undergo department inspections before it can open to customers, he said.
