Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Students Donate Over 100 Gifts

Students helped load more than 100 donated gifts into the Salvation Army's van for delivery during the school's annual holiday event

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Lisle recently donated over 100 gifts to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. Students and their families collected toys, clothes and personal care items to benefit children in need from DuPage County. Chesterbrook Academy families loaded the gifts into the Salvation Army’s donation van at the school’s annual holiday event. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program is an opportunity to spread joy and cheer to the less fortunate during the holidays. Angel Trees represent the wishes and desires of a child or youth. Through the program, families and children have their specific needs and wants met for a warm and joyous holiday experience.
