Well-Dressed Bank Robber Strikes Lisle, Westschester, Plainfield Banks In Week
Authorities are looking for a man who robbed TCF Bank at 1156 Maple Avenue in Lisle on Sept. 18.

LISLE, IL --- The FBI has launched a search for a man who robbed at TCF Bank in Lisle and may be responsible for other robberies in the area, including a Saturday afternoon robbery in Plainfield. The Lisle robbery took place at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 18, according to the FBI Chicago website.
Based on security camera footage, the suspect is described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, standing approximately 6'2" or 6'3" tall . He is described as having a dark complexion and was wearing a long-sleeved button down shirt, dark pants, a fedora, dark sunglasses, and a blue tie.

Sept. 20 at 6:22 p.m., TCF Bank at 2128 Mannheim Rd. in Westchester

Sept. 23 at 3:15 p.m.,U.S. Bank at 13521 S. Route 59 in Plainfield

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous, according to the FBI's Chicago field office.
