The Lisle Community Band-30 Years Young
Join the Lisle Community Band for the 30th Year of Concerts in the Park!
The Lisle Community Band and Jazz Band are seeking musicians to join in this
summer's Concerts in the Park. This will be an especially fun season as it is the
30th year since the band began! Woodwinds, brass and percussion needed.
The Community Concert Band starts rehearsals Tuesday June 7th. The band meets
at Lisle Senior High School 1800 Short Street in Lisle. The rehearsals are from 7:30
pm to 9:30 pm. The Community Jazz Band begins Monday June 13th same times
and location. You may join one or both groups with one membership fee of $30.
The membership fee for a family regardless of how many members is $60. This
fee provides you with a uniform shirt.
The concerts planned are Thursdays June 23rd , July 7th , July 14th , July 21st and the
Jazz Band concert is Thursday July 28th . We also are scheduled to march in the
Lisle Community Fourth of July parade Monday July 4th.
