Lisle Community Band Concert Inside Tonight at the Lisle Senior High School Auditorium!

The Lisle Community Band will perform a concert of Pop Favorites and Light Classics tonight at 7:30 pm. Continuing its 30th year of performing under the direction of Steven Green, the group will perform light classics, including Poet and Peasant Overture, music of Prokofieff and Wagner. Highlights will include a Beatles Medley and a Mancini Spectacular. The free concert will be indoors tonight due to inclement weather. The location is 1800 Short Street in Lisle inside Lisle Senior High School in the auditorium. The facility is air conditioned so a light sweater might be needed. Refreshments will be sold and a raffle held. Upcoming concerts are Thursdays July 14th, July 21st and the Lisle Community Jazz Band performs music of the Big Bands Thursday July 28th.
