LISLE COMMUNITY BAND CONCERT THURSDAY! JOIN THE FUN! MUSIC FOR EVERYONE!

The Lisle Community Band continues its 30th year of performing free concerts in the park with a concert Thursday July 21st at 7:30 pm. Under the direction of Steven Green, this concert will be an entertaining assortment! Selections performed include Capriccio Espagnol, a Symphonic Medley of Melodies, an Eighties Flashback and music from West Side Story. Highlighted will be a clarinet solo and a trumpet section feature. The free concert is held in Lisle Community Park, 1825 Short Street. In case of extreme weather the concert will move to the Lisle Senior High School auditorium, 1800 Short Street. The weekly raffle continues with many great prizes. There is a separate raffle for a beautiful music themed quilted wall hanging. Refreshments will be sold by the Faith United Methodist Church of LIsle. Please bring a chair or blanket for comfortable seating. Upcoming concerts will be the Lisle Community Jazz Band performing music of the Big Bands Thursday July 28th.
