Lisle Community Band Concert Thursday July 7th Rain Or Shine!! Help Us Celebrate Our 30th Year!!

The Lisle Community Band wil perform a concert of Pop Favorites and Light Classics Thursday July 7th at 7:30 pm. Continuing its 30th year of performing concerts in the park under the direction of Steven Green, the group will perform light classics, including Poet and Peasant Overture, music of Prokofieff and Wagner. Highlights will include a Beatles Medley and a Mancini Spectacular. The free concert is held in Lisle Community Park, 1825 Short Street. In case of extreme weather the concert will move to the Lisle Senior High School auditorium, 1800 Short Street. Refreshments will be sold and a raffle held. Please bring a chair or blanket for comfortable seating. Upcoming concerts are Thursdays July 14th, July 21st and the Lisle Community Jazz Band performs music of the Big Bands Thursday July 28th.
