Lisle Coronavirus Update: 8 Percent Increase In Past Week

As of Sept. 23, Lisle has seen 303 cases of coronavirus, according to the DuPage County Health Department.

LISLE, IL — The number of coronavirus cases in Lisle has increased by 8 percent in the past week, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD).

As of Sept. 16, the village had reported 270 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 303 as of Sept. 23.

To date, there have been a total of eight coronavirus-related deaths in the village, DCHD reports. According to the DCHD website, there were no active coronavirus cases in Lisle as of Sept. 23.

In nearby Naperville, the number of coronavirus cases had increased by 5 percent. As of Sept. 16, there had been 1,191 cases reported in Naperville. The total number of cases reported in Naperville as of Sept. 23 was 1,251.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in Naperville has been 39 since DCHD began tracking coronavirus statistics.

DuPage County was recently taken off the coronavirus "warning list" by Illinois Department of Public Health.
