Lisle Police Department Shares July Fourth Road Violation Numbers

Lisle Police Department releases July Fourth enforcement statistics for impaired driving and seat belt violations.

LISLE, IL — Lisle Police Department reported the results of the recent July Fourth Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket crackdown campaign. Lisle PD says they made the following arrests and issued these citations from the end of June through July 8:

  • 11 drunk-driving arrests
  • 4 seat belt citations
  • 11 speeding citations
  • 1 arrest for a revoked driver's license
  • 2 arrests on warrants
  • 7 other moving violations during

Buckle Up, Drive Sober During 4th Of July In Lisle: Police

Lisle PD says they joined forces with more than 150 other state and local law enforcement agencies throughout Illinois in a statewide effort to get drunk and drugged drivers off roadways and encourage seat belt use through the campaign, which featured "high-visibility" enforcement and a variety of other outreach efforts including a media campaign.
