LISLE, IL — Lisle officials announced Tuesday that no new date has been set for a public hearing on a proposed data center because the village is "waiting to hear from the developer if they want to proceed." The first scheduled public hearing in January was postponed after resident attendance exceeded village hall capacity.

Per Tuesday's update, the village is working with Lisle District 202 to arrange to hold the meeting in the gym at Lisle High School if the public hearing moves forward.

Cloud Centers, LLC, has proposed a 256,000 square foot, 50-megawatt co-location datacenter for 711 Ogden Ave. The development would require a special use permit and a number of zoning variations.

The resident pushback comes shortly after the Naperville City Council rejected a proposed data center.

If the developer chooses to pursue a public hearing in Lisle, residents will be notified 15 or more days before the scheduled date.
