Next Vision 202 Engagement Session to Focus on District Finances

Lisle Community Unit School District 202 will host the third Vision 202 community engagement session, “The Financial Landscape of Lisle CUSD 202” on Wednesday, March 25 from 7-9 p.m. at Lisle Jr. High School, 5207 Center Avenue. All parents and residents are invited to attend the Vision 202 session.

Lisle 202 has a long history of being solid financial stewards of stakeholder dollars. As a result, the school district is well positioned to invest in resources that directly impact student learning and college/career readiness. Session three will focus on the factors that influence the school district’s financial health, how the school district manages its financial resources, and the financial forecast for Lisle CUSD 202’s future.

Vision 202, is a new planning initiative that began in January of this year. The collaborative community engagement process between the community and Lisle CUSD 202 is designed to ensure the continuation of a successful educational experience for future Lisle CUSD students and to help guide the direction of the District for the next several years. Vision 202 is facilitated by District residents, Co-chairs Susan Stears and Bill Buchelt.

In previous Vision 202 sessions, parents, residents, community members and District staff discussed “The State of the District” which provided an overview of the facts, celebrations and challenges currently facing Lisle CUSD 202 and “Student Achievement & Programs of Study” where they identified factors they believe students need to be successful at school.
