Peacemaking is the theme of "Advent at the Abbey"

"Advent at the Abbey," sponsored by St. Procopius Abbey and the Department of History, Philosophy & Religious Studies at Benedictine Uni

“Advent at the Abbey,” sponsored by St. Procopius Abbey and the Department of History, Philosophy & Religious Studies at Benedictine University, will be held from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, at the abbey. The theme of the day is peacemaking. The schedule includes arrival and coffee at 9:00 a.m., Lauds at 9:30 a.m., Lecto Divinio at 10:00 a.m., the Sacrament of Reconciliation at 11:00 a.m., Eucharist at noon, lunch at 12:30 p.m., a talk about the day’s theme at 1:30 p.m., and a closing prayer and blessing at 2:30 p.m. A free will offering will be taken.
