Representative Ron Sandack to Partner with AT&T for Free Technology Workshop for Seniors

Seniors from the 81st Legislative House District are invited to join State Representative Ron Sandack (R-Downers Grove) and trained experts from AT&T for a free Technology Workshop on Wednesday, November 4.

The event will begin at 11:00 AM at the Downers Grove Public Library, 1050 Curtiss Street in Downers Grove. Sandack and experts from AT&T will discuss how smartphone technology can simplify everyday activities, and teach seniors how to use their phones and computers to help with prescription management, banking and other activities. The group will also discuss how programs like Skype and Facetime can help seniors keep in touch with loved ones.

“Cellphone and computer technology can be overwhelming, and I am pleased to be able to bring experts together for a hands-on workshop to assist seniors who live in the 81st District,” said Sandack. “I hope to see a great turnout for this free event.”
