See Nature-Inspired LEGO Art At Morton Arboretum
Tour the Arboretum to find 15 colorful statues made from nearly 500,000 LEGO pieces.

LISLE, IL -- If you're looking for a fun activity to keep the kids occupied during the summer, you may want to check out the nature-themed LEGO sculptures at Morton Arboretum. Artists used close to half a million LEGO pieces to craft 15 colorful statues that are on display May 24 through Sept. 15.
Kids can spot a peacock, an oak tree, bumblebees, a dragonfly, and more art pieces, all assembled from LEGO pieces. The exhibits are part of the Nature Connects Art project, a traveling assortment of LEGO statues designed to show how different parts of nature rely on each other.
The touring LEGO sculpture exhibit is the brainchild of Sean Kenney, who has been using LEGOs to create art for more than 15 years.
