SJA Remembers 9/11

Prayer Service for those that lost their lives on 9/11 and honoring our Local First Responders

9/11 REMEMBERED at St. Joan of Arc
(Lisle, IL) It is a day that forever changed our nation. Friends and families were left weakened by missing loved ones, yet the spirit and resolve of America grew strong. Now is the time to remember those that were taken from us, and to thank those whose memory kept us from falling down. It’s been a long, hard road since 9/11, and it will continue for many years, but, as one nation, we will continue to prevail.

St. Joan of Arc Parish in Lisle held a Rememberance Service today to honor those lost in 9/11, along with honoring our local First Responders, who are there for us every day- Over 20 Lisle police and fire fighters joined us for today's moment of prayer.

When asked what makes them go on in the face of adversity, their answer was "To Make A Difference!"
