Students at Chesterbrook Academy(R) Preschool in Lisle Donate More than 500 Pounds of Food to Celebrate 100th Day of School

Students and their families donated over 500 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Lisle Township Food Pantry

LISLE, Ill. (FEB. 5, 2016) – Students at Chesterbrook Academy preschool in Lisle celebrated their 100th day of school by donating more than 500 pounds of non-perishable food items to benefit the Lisle Township Food Pantry, exceeding their 100-pound goal. In celebration, students took pictures in a 100th day photo booth, weighed the donations, and delivered the donation to the food pantry.

The Lisle Township Food Pantry benefits township residents who are in need. Staffed by a group of dedicated volunteers, it is their goal to make sure that no person goes hungry.
