Village Of Lisle: Recycle Your Live Christmas Tree In January!

The Village has partnered with Lakeshore Recycling Systems to collect live Christmas trees for recycling. Residents with curbside pick-up can recycle Christmas trees on their normal collection day, Wednesday, on either January 5th or January 12th, 2022. To prepare trees for collection, please remove ornaments, tinsel, lights and tree stands before placing them at the curb. Flocked trees, trees with shiners, tinsel, light bulbs, glitter, wire or plastic trees, or trees in plastic bags, will not be collected.

As a reminder, Village Hall will be recycling broken or burnt out stands of holiday lights and extension cords until January 28, 2022. Drop off hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
