White Nationalist Flyers Posted In Downtown Lombard
Police say the flyers were posted on public property downtown.

LOMBARD, IL — "Messages of hate and intolerance are an affront to the values and beliefs of our community," Lombard officials said after white nationalist flyers were found posted on public property downtown. The village posted about the incident on Facebook Thursday, saying that village staff was working to remove the flyers and would stay vigilant to remove any additional propaganda in the coming weeks.
"Our main goal is the safety and quality of life of all Lombardians and we fully reject the discrimination of any person based on their race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, or any other personal freedom," village officials said. They added that Lombard is a "proudly diverse community that embraces all of its residents and visitors."
Police say the incident remains under investigation and that they will continue to work with residents to "to foster a safe and welcoming community."
