Winners of the 2015 Lisle Park District Photography Contest Announced
Photo Contest winners awarded at the Lisle Park District Board of Park Commissioners meeting

Lisle, IL – On January 21 at the monthly meeting of the Lisle Park District Board of Park Commissioners, the 2015 Photography Contest winners were announced, including awards for first place, second place, third place and honorable mention.
The highest award for first place was presented to Lisle resident Katelyn Fonner, age 16, for her original photograph taken while ‘Spending Quality Time with Friends’ in Lisle Community Park. Katelyn’s photo is now on display in the Lisle Park District Recreation Center lobby at 1925 Ohio Street. The honor for second place was awarded to Sue Quigley for her unique photograph capturing ‘Sunlight Through a Morning Shower’ in Lisle Community Park. The third place photograph was taken by Ruth Rehayem, while ‘Stopping at the Bridge to Gaze Down the Creek’ in Lisle Community Park. Last but certainly not least, honorable mention was given to Alejandra Camarillo for her vibrant photograph taken during the calm before the storm on a ‘Family Walk’ in Lisle Community Park. All four photographs can be seen in the 2016 Lisle Park District Winter/Spring brochure and on the Lisle Park District website at lisleparkdistrict.org/photographycontest.
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2016 Photography Contest through October 1, 2016! Please note that all photographs must be taken at a Lisle Park District park, facility, event or program.
