• Lockport to auction off Route 66 centennial benches (shawlocal.com) — Lockport residents can bid on the city’s Route 66 centennial car benches this Sunday, Sept. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at City Hall’s Central Square. With live music, food, and free admission, the auction raises money for future Lockport community arts events and gives locals a chance to take home a piece of downtown’s summer displays.
