WILMINGTON, IL — A Monee man died in a jet ski accident on the Kankakee River Saturday, according to the Will County Coroner's Office and a fundraiser started for the man's family.
Angelo Triolo, 54, was pronounced dead at the Conservation Boat Launch at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, the coroner's office said. Triolo died as the result of an "apparent watercraft incident," the coroner's office said. A fundraiser for the man's family says Triolo died in a jet ski accident.
"Angelo was an amazing man and if you knew him, you knew he was all heart!" the fundraiser reads. "Angelo would do just about anything for anybody, he was one of the good ones.
Angelo had a true love for dogs, playing music, jet skiing, his longtime life partner Dawn Juskevicus, his family members, and his friends!"
The Illinois Department of Conservation Police are investigating the incident. Patch has reached out to the agency for additional information.
