Kankakee Man, 25, ID'd As Pedestrian Killed By Semi On I-57: Coroner

KANKAKEE COUNTY — A pedestrian fatally struck by a semi on I-57 south on Monday morning has been identified as a 25-year-old Kankakee man.

Illinois State Police were called Monday at 8:46 a.m. at 8:46 a.m. to I-57 southbound near exit 308 US-45/52, for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a semi.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner identified the man as Kaleb Lee.
