Agave Azul in Manhattan has closed once more after learning an employee has tested positive for the coronavirus.

MANHATTAN, IL — Two days after reopening, Agave Azul in Manhattan has closed once more after learning an employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, the restaurant shared via its website.

The restaurant had previously been closed voluntarily and "out of precaution for ourselves and customers," according to a message on its website.

The restaurant said it is mitigating the situation in accordance with guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

According to the Illinois Department of Health, there are 23 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in ZIP code 60442. In all of Will County, there are 2,510 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and 153 related deaths.
