• Family mourns death of young Marengo woman killed after other driver causes head-on crash near Huntley (lakemchenryscanner.com) — A 22-year-old woman from Marengo was killed when another driver’s car crossed the center line and hit her head-on on Big Timber Road near Huntley, also killing the other driver and closing the road for hours. Her family is asking the community for prayers as Kane and McHenry County authorities continue investigating and seek any witnesses to the crash.
