• Illinois Village McCook Makes Pitch To Have Chicago Bears Stadium (97x.com) — McCook’s mayor is actively pitching the village as the future home of a new Chicago Bears stadium on a 150-acre former quarry site at 55th Street and East Avenue. The plan envisions a domed stadium on land currently owned by Vulcan, with public ownership, $1-a-year rent for the Bears, and easy access from Interstates 55 and 294.
