• Guy Owen Choate Jr., 87, of Belle Rive (wfiwradio.com) — Family and friends can honor Guy Owen Choate Jr. at a graveside service Monday, April 20, at 1 p.m. at Flint-Belle Rive Cemetery in Belle Rive, with memorials accepted at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The longtime Firestone employee, Belle Rive firefighter, village board member, and devoted family man is remembered for his service, faith, and love of the outdoors.
