3 Places to Be in Mokena

1. St. Mary's Graduation: The students and parents at celebrate graduation with a Mass tonight at 7 p.m. Congratulations, kids, and good luck next year.

2. Mayor's Cruise Night: Hot rods and cool wheels roll into town Sunday. 5-9 p.m. Every Sunday through Sept. 4, parking lot, 19031 Old LaGrange Road, will be filled with cars that evoke memories of highways and byways past. Sponsored by the Mokena Mayors Charitable Foundation.

3. Memorial Day: William Martin VFW Post No. 725 will conduct its annual Monday morning. The ceremony will begin at St. Mary's Cemetery at 10 a.m., Monday. The procession will then proceed south on Wolf Road, stopping at Pioneer Cemetery before concluding at St. John's Cemetery. Spend the morning honoring those who sacrificed for your freedom. The Memorial Day barbecue will taste that much better.
