SWCCB Summer Band Camp June 8-12, 2026

SWCCB Summer Band Camp is a wonderful opportunity for young musicians to continue developing their skills in an environment that is focused, encouraging, and fun. Throughout the week, students work closely with experienced directors and staff who know how to challenge developing players while also making the experience positive and enjoyable. The camp is designed to help students strengthen fundamentals, listen more carefully, play more confidently in an ensemble, and deepen their overall appreciation for music.

Just as important, the SWCCB Summer Band Camp gives students the chance to connect with other young musicians who share their interests. For many campers, it is not only a week of music-making, but also a chance to build friendships, gain confidence, and be part of something exciting and creative. The atmosphere is welcoming, energetic, and supportive, making it a great fit for students who want to improve their playing while enjoying the camaraderie that comes from making music together.

By the end of the week, students leave with more than just new music learned and notes played. They leave with a stronger sense of accomplishment, greater musical confidence, and memories of a rewarding summer experience. Whether a student is looking to sharpen existing skills, prepare for the next school band season, or simply enjoy a week immersed in music, SWCCB Summer Band Camp offers a meaningful and memorable experience that continues to make an impact long after the final concert.
