MorningStar Mission is Seeking Donations of Sewing and Craft Supplies

MorningStar Mission is Seeking Donations of Sewing and Craft Supplies

MorningStar Mission was founded in 1909.

MorningStar Mission is a non-denominational charitable organization dedicated to relieving the spiritual and physical hunger of the poor. The mission accomplishes this by providing food for the hungry, clothing for the needy, shelter for the homeless and the Gospel of Jesus Christ for all.

Through multiple Christ-centered programs and services, MorningStar Mission aims to help people in need by getting to the core issues of what has caused their homelessness. Whether the problem stems from alcohol, drugs, mental health or family issues, their services have been developed for those who have reached the decision to make a real change in their lives.

To help carry out their meaningful work, MorningStar Mission is presently in need of sewing supplies for a newly created sewing class.

Donations may be dropped off or mailed to:

MorningStar Mission, c/o "Sewing Class", 350 East Washington Street, Joliet, IL 60432

If you come in person - ask for Judy.

Phone: (815) 722-5780.

If you can't drop the supplies off at the Washington Street office, you may also drop them off at the mission's Treasure Chest Thrift stores in New Lenox or Joliet - but be sure to write "Sewing Class" c/o Judy on your donation bags or boxes in marker or print "Sewing Class" in large font on your computer printer and tape it to your donation so it reaches the sewing class.
