Current Guidelines Won't Allow Mokena Youth Basketball League
The park district said that if guidelines change, it will run the league, even with a shorter season.
MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Community Park District shared that its popular youth basketball leagues won't happen this year, unless current guidelines change. According to a post on its Facebook page, competitive play is not allowed for basketball currently.
"If the guidelines change, we will run the league, even if it ends up being shorter than usual," the park district said.
The park district will update residents on its website and email last year's participants if registration opens.
