About Social Craft Studios
Social Craft is a social event space in Mokena. While we specialize in DIY Wood Sign Workshops, we offer a wide variety of different workshops and activities aimed at getting people together to express creativity in a relaxed, judgement free environment. Some of these other events include but are not limited to canvas painting, succulent planting, DIY board games, flower arrangements, Kids workshops, and much more! We do anything from Birthday parties, to Bachelorette parties, to Bridal showers, Corporate team building, Fundraisers, and any other occasion people might have to get together. In case you are not familiar with what we mean when we say "Wood Sign Workshop"; It is a group session (usually around 3 hours) in which anywhere from 1-24 people will be given a pile of raw materials based on their project selections prior to the class. These materials include one or several pieces of bare wood, sanding materials, their pre-selected stencil, their choice of paint and stain colors, as well as any brushes or small hand tools required to complete the projects. The workshop is very guided and we guarantee a finished product the customer is happy with. We pride ourselves on being a small, family owned and operated business here in the Mokena Community that is able to offer the quality control that we do. We take care to make sure EVERY person that leaves here, leaves here more than satisfied with their time with us. We have expanded our kids workshops due to the positive feedback on the ones we've done thus far. We are also very interested in hosting fundraisers for all the various different types of local causes.
