Clean-Up Day Rescheduled to Sept. 10

Mother Nature may have gotten the better of us the first two times, but we're betting the third time's the charm for Mokena Clean-Up Day 2011.

Clean-Up Day activities postponed in April and May because of stormy weather are back on the radar for Saturday, Sept. 10, beginning with sign-in at Village Hall, 11004 Carpenter St., at 9 a.m.

Activities will run throughout the morning, concluding with a free meal, beverages, and snacks for all participants around noon.

To pitch in and help, simply show up at Village Hall at 9 a.m.
