The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau, 2304 173rd Street, Lansing, will host a Local Tourism Grant Writing Workshop Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 9-10:30 a.m. to assist Southland municipalities and member not-for-profit agencies in applying for local tourism matching grants.
The workshop provides information on the grant program and offers detailed explanations of how to complete the grant application and expenditure forms. Note: Local Tourism Marketing Grants will be processed and awarded contingent upon FY11 CVB funding from the State of Illinois.
