Executive Walsh, County Board saddened by death of Lisa Radogno

     JOLIET – Will County Executive Larry Walsh and the Will County Board is mourning the death of Lisa Radogno, 31, daughter of State Sen. Christine Radogno and Chicago attorney Nunzio Radogno.

     Miss Radogno died on Wednesday, June 18, from a pulmonary embolism.

     She had been an executive assistant to Sen. Mark Kirk since 2008 and was a familiar sight to Will County delegations when they met with the senator.

     “During our trips to Washington, Lisa was usually the first one to greet us when we met with Sen. Kirk,” said Walsh.  “She was always very kind, welcoming and a professional public servant truly dedicated to her constituents.  Our prayers and sympathy go out to her family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.”

     County officials held a moment of silence in Lisa Radogno honor during the County Board meeting on Thursday, June 19.
