Fancy That: Mokena's Neighbor to Spiff Up 80th Avenue Metra Stop

We know a lot of Mokena residents use the 80th Avenue Metra station in Tinley Park. A new video shows how fancy the station revamp is going to be.

By the most recent estimates, work on the station and east half of the platform should be done by Dec. 22, with work on the pedestrian underpass and west half of the platform by June 19, 2012.

Metra is paying $5.4 million for the project; the village of Tinley will pay $4 million.
