Had an opportunity to meet Gayla Smith, the conservative Republican candidate for the 37th State Representative District.  Gayla is not the usual Illinois politician.   She comes to this March 18th primary election as a breath of fresh air.  Unlike most politicians, Gayla's experience is all private sector business.  She is intelligent, energetic, engaging and, most importantly, a person of integrity.  Illinois is full of self-serving politicians.  If you're tired of this lousy Illinois state government, give Gayla Smith a good look.  I think you'll like what you see.
