Goddard School Opening In Mokena

MOKENA, IL - The Goddard School For Early Childhood Development, a national brand of preschools that focus on "play-based learning" and "dynamic learning through a play curriculum," is officially opening its newest location in Mokena this month. A grand opening celebration for the Goddard School at 11900 Francis Road is planned from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Opening the Mokena franchise will be Neel Saha and his wife, Dolon, a public school teacher for 11 years in Mokena.

“By bringing The Goddard School to Mokena, we’re not only filling a need for a high-quality preschool for area families, we’re also giving back to a community that we’ve been a part of for more than 25 years,” Neel said.

Children will learn about the solar system through STEAM-focused activities during the grand opening celebration, when a Mokena police officer will hand out Child Identification Kits to parents.

The Goddard School has several locations nationally, including 21 in Chicagoland.
