Halloween Bookfair Fundraiser - November 1, 2014 by the Music Connection and SYSO
The Music Connection and Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra students will perform at Barnes and Noble Bookstore, Lagrange Road in Orland Park
The Bookfair will be on Saturday November 1 from 1-4PM and will feature performances by Music Connection string and piano students and Suburban Youth Symphony students. Proceeds from the book fair will benefit the scholarship program of Suburban Youth Symphony.
“This is one of the most popular and fun events we do each year!” said Janet Kuester, director of The Music Connection and Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra board member.
“The students love dressing up in costumes and performing music,” she continued. “Many students work on a special Halloween piano piece. Our advanced violin group class students will play a few Halloween pieces that they love because of the ‘special’ effects such as tremolos and ‘surprise scary loud parts.’”

The special Café drink will be the “Beethoven Brew!” Our musical Halloween Fundraiser will be full of tricks and treats!
