Happy Third Anniversary to Resistance Pro
This Friday, I will be sitting in the front row, as Resistance Pro wrestling celebrates three years of excellence.

This Friday, I will be joining many of my friends and hundreds of fans as we all celebrate Resistance Pro’s third anniversary. This event shows how far RPro has come in three years, without straying far from its roots.
RPro debuted three years ago at Excalibur. Many of us met each other for the first time there and we have been coming back ever since. RPro has a very strong and loyal fanbase which is growing every month.
This Friday, RPro original D’Arcy Dixon will battle Mickie Knuckles in a cage for the Women’s championship. Dixon is a great example of RPro’s growth. The former champ has worked extremely hard to improve every aspect of her game. She has had many great matches over the three years.
Knuckles, who beat Dixon for the title, hasn’t been at RPro quite as long, but she has won the respect of everyone. Like Dixon, Knuckles has had many great matches.
These two ladies are part of a fantastic women’s division. Some of the best matches I have ever seen have been RPro Women’s matches. They have been show-stealers!
Also on the card is former Heavyweight champ “The Ego” Robert Anthony. I don’t recall anything less than a five star match from Ego. This Friday, he will be matched against “Hurricane” Shane Helms. This is a “can’t miss” match.
Eric St. Vaughn is a homegrown RPro talent who has worked hard and progressed to his current spot with Brady Pierce as tag team champs. As Body Magic, this pair has jelled into an excellent team. They usually have the loudest fan section, too.
Longtime Heavyweight champ Jocephus is being challenged by “Mr. M80” Marshe Rockett. Brody has been dominant, but Rockett seems ready for the challenge. I have no idea what will happen, but I can’t wait to watch it.
These are just a few of the matches. Make no mistake though, the rest of the card is just as exciting. RPro does not have “throw-away” matches.
In addition to the great wrestling action, “…And Justice For All” is a fund-raiser for Taft School in Lockport. This is just one example of RPro reaching out to communities. RPro has done several such fundraisers. A young company like RPro already giving back is quite impressive.
Another example is the Positive Outreach Program (POP). RPro will also have a POP event at Taft. RPro has been visiting schools and making a difference. I am proud to participate in POP and, like the others in RPro, I feel like I get far more than I give.
At Taft everything comes back to the home area of co-owners Jacques and Gabe Baron. It is all quite fitting, as the Baron brothers, along with Creative Director Billy Corgan, have built RPro from scratch, relying on a “family” atmosphere within the company and at the shows. Whether a member of the RPro organization or just a fan, everyone is treated like part of the family.
This Friday, I will be there in the first row, enjoying the show like always. There is no place I would rather be than surrounded by my RPro family and toasting our three years together!
