Inaugural Charity Golf Outing Tees Off at Prestwick Country Club

The outing is in honor of longtime Frankfort resident Kevin Charles Kaler.

The Kevin Charles Kaler Brightside Foundation, an organization founded with the belief that all individuals deserve to reach their fullest potential, will hold its first ever fundraising event in the community in which it was established. Prestwick County Club in Frankfort, Illinois will host the inaugural golf outing on Thursday, September 18, 2014.

The Brightside Foundation was established in honor of Kevin Charles Kaler, son of Mark and Patricia Kaler, to provide funding for children and young adults in need of assistance. The foundation donates resources to charity groups around the country that enrich the lives of those in need of support. The Brightside Foundation donates to other charitable organizations whose missions focus on social, medical, educational and recreational aid.

“Kevin always had an adventurous spirit, we strive to honor that when choosing charities to support,” said Mark Kaler, co-founder of the foundation. “Our goal with this golf outing is to raise funds to provide growth opportunities for disadvantaged children and young adults by donating to several organizations.”
