L-W North Athletic Boosters Hold Chili Cook Off
The cookoff will be held Oct. 25. Chefs should register by Oct. 18.

Fans of chili, amateur chefs, and supporters of high school athletics are all invited to the Seventh Annual Lincoln-Way North Athletic Boosters Chili Cook Off on Oct. 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30p.m.
The event will be held in the cafeteria at Lincoln-Way North High School, located at 19900 S. Harlem Ave. in Frankfort.
Attendees will receive 10 tasting tickets for $5, which can be exchanged for samples of chili from participants who will showcase their special recipes and compete for cash prizes and bragging rights.

A committee of “Official Chili Judges” made up of local dignitaries will vote on the various chili choices. First-, second-, and third-place winners will be named and will receive $100, $50 or $25. There also will be a Chili Gold Champion prize awarded to the winner of the People’s Choice competition, which will be voted on by all attendees.
People interested in competing in the Chili Cook Off can download a registration form from www.lwnab.org. The entry fee is $20, if submitted before Oct. 15. Entrants who submit their forms by Oct. 1 will have their registration fee returned to them when they arrive at the event. Entries will be accepted until Oct. 18.
