Lincoln-Way Students' Works Selected For Art Exhibition

The show began Feb. 12 and runs through Friday, March 7 at the Zhou B Art Center.

MOKENA, IL — Thirteen students from Lincoln-Way 210 have been selected to showcase artwork at the Illinois High School Art Exhibition. The district said more than 500 of the best student artists from 125+ Illinois high schools will showcase their art and are eligible for more than $20 million in college scholarships at the fifth annual exhibition.

The show began Feb. 12 and runs through Friday, March 7 at the Zhou B Art Center in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood.

"The IHSAE show is an amazing venue and opportunity for student artists. Not only do they get
to display their artwork in a competitive gallery environment, but they also are afforded the
opportunity for scholarship money from colleges that attend the exhibition,” Phil Labriola,
District Art Department Chairperson, said in a release.

The 2019 Illinois High School Art Exhibition is a not-for-profit corporation whose mission is the
advancement of visual arts education through exhibition.
