Mokena Holds Annual Clean-Up Day

MOKENA, IL — Head outside and help clean up Mokena during the 29th annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 13. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and if you wish to help you can head out to village hall, 11004 Carpenter St.

The village said families, neighbors, teams, and scout groups are all welcome to join the village board and staff in cleaning up the town. Registration is at 9 a.m., and you should bring a pair of work gloves.

After the clean-up, there will be a complimentary lunch of hots dogs, chips, pop and water at the village hall.
